Income distribution for 3 AmInvest's funds

AmInvest Management Sdn Bhd has declared net income distributions for three of its funds, ranging from 1.5 sen to 5.5 sen per unit, for the third quarter of its financial year.

In a statement today, it said the distribution for AmDynamic Bond was 1.5 sen per unit, AmAsia Pacific Equity Income at 5.5 sen and AmAsia Pacific REITs at 2.0 sen per unit.

Chief executive officer Datin Maznah Mahbob said despite the volatility in the investment market and challenging global economic conditions, the income distribution for these funds underscored the fund management's expertise and capabilities built over more than three decades.

Since its commencement in September 2003, AmDynamic Bond, a medium to long-term bond fund with potentially higher level of income and risk, has provided annualised returns of 8.4 per cent, doubling its benchmark of four per cent over the same period.

AmAsia Pacific Equity Income has provided returns of 30.7 per cent, outperforming its benchmark's of 17 per cent since its launch in April 2012, while AmAsia Pacific REITs, AmInvest's best selling unit trust fund, provided returns of 33.7 per cent, surpassing its benchmark by 14.2 per cent since its launch in July 2011.
