Gold futures open lower

The gold futures contract opened lower today with only one month traded on a lack of demand for the precious metal, dealers said.

As at 9.55am, December 2013 declined 32 ticks to RM128.75 per gramme, with 10 lots traded.

Open interest stood at 1031 contracts
