Gold futures open lower on lack of demand

The gold futures contract opened lower today, with only one month traded on lack of demand for the precious metal, dealers said.

As at 9.50am, December 2013 lost 32 ticks to RM128.75 a gramme, with 33 lots traded.

Open interest stood at 1,086 contracts
