KLCI futures open higher

The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract (FKLI) on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives was traded higher in line with the cash market.

As at 9.52am, both January 2014 and March 2014 added 1.0 points each to 1,816.5 and 1,813.5, respectively, while June 2014 gained 0.5 of-a-point to 1,808.

The underlying FBM KLCI was 2.44 points better at 1,824.34 after
52 minutes of trading.
